In a world full of fad diets, restrictive eating, food additives, processed convenience foods, and a million “experts” spewing truths and contradicting information, it is difficult to know who to trust and what to eat. Eggs are bad and then they are good. Animal fats are bad and then good and then bad again. Grains are bad, unless you eat these ones, or maybe not those one, or maybe only this way. It’s exhausting knowing what to eat and who to trust. So much of our food “experts” are actually funded by companies benefiting from those foods. Let us help you cut out all the nonsense. Silence the noise and step back to the way God designed our bodies. It is simplifying our foods to the building blocks that are our bodies are designed to use. We have gathered much of our research from the West A. Price Foundation, and that is a phenomenal place to start your own reading. We also highly recommend the Nourishing Traditions cookbook. It is more than a cook book though. It gives you insight into what those building blocks are and what foods provide them to us. You can feel healthy again. We are not just talking about loosing weight. We are talking about feeling energized, regulated body temperature, a stabilized mood, eliminating anxiety and depression, sleeping through the night, and balanced hormone levels. There are more factors to health than what the scale says. That is only one piece to a much larger picture.

Real food has few ingredients, is made from scratch, and is often grown or raised right out side your home. That is not meant to say that you have to grow all of your own food. There are plenty of farms that will do that for you. It just means that the foods we eat should be able to grow where we live. When foods and diets feel complicated, simplify. And that doesn’t mean you need to cut out whole food groups. A cut of meat and root vegetables can be so satisfying, nourishing, and simple. Life is busy and complex enough, our meals and ingredient lists do not need to be.
